WHAT WE OFFER

La Vérité Dance Projects offers a range of programs designed to support athletic and artistic training and personal development.

DANCE TRAINING

Early dance education/preschool classes

Our Early Education program supports young children as they take their first steps into dance through playful, engaging movement experiences. Classes such as Peas and Pods (parent/carer and child), Teeny Tiny Troopers and Tiny Troopers introduce dancers to creative movement, rhythm, musicality, coordination, and the foundations of dance technique in a warm and supportive environment. These classes focus on building confidence, imagination, and social skills while gently preparing students for future structured training within our dance school. There are no formal examinations at this level; instead, teachers observe each child’s development and readiness before progressing them to the next stage. Students in Tiny Troopers may also be invited to participate in our Floorshow and annual concert when they are ready, providing a positive and encouraging introduction to performance.

Dance school for kids and teens (prep to year 12)

Our Dance Training program offers structured development across a range of styles, supporting students as they grow technically, artistically, and personally. Students can train in Ballet (Cecchetti), Jazz, Contemporary, Tap, Hip Hop, AcroDance, and Musical Theatre, with opportunities to participate in performances, examinations, and creative projects throughout the year. To help students explore their interests and build strong foundations, classes are organised into four dance streams: the Technical Stream (Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, and Tap), which focuses on technique, discipline, and artistry and includes Cecchetti Ballet exams and in-house assessments; the Musical Theatre Stream (Jazz, Tap, Acting and Singing), designed for students who enjoy storytelling and performance; and the Street Dance Stream (Hip Hop), which emphasises rhythm, freestyle, and expressive choreography. Students may also choose the Acro Stream, developing strength, flexibility, and acrobatic skills through AcroDance and gymnastics-based training. These programs provide students with a clear pathway to deepen their skills, discover their strengths, and continue progressing within the La Vérité dance school community.

Adult classes

Our Adult Dance Classes provide a welcoming and supportive environment for dancers of all experience levels, whether returning to dance after time away or trying it for the first time. These classes focus on developing technique, musicality, strength, and confidence while allowing participants to enjoy the creative and physical benefits of movement. With a balance of structured learning and a relaxed, encouraging atmosphere, adult students can explore different styles, reconnect with dance, and continue developing their skills as part of the La Vérité community.

Performance opportunities

Performance is an important part of the La Vérité experience, allowing students to apply their training, build confidence, and share their work with the community. Throughout the year, students may participate in events such as our Floorshow and End of Year Concert, as well as examinations and creative projects within their classes. These opportunities provide a supportive environment for students to develop stage presence, teamwork, and artistic expression while celebrating their progress and achievements.

Dialed In

As students grow within the studio, they can further expand their skills through enrichment programs that support creativity, leadership, and holistic development. Dialed In, our Leadership program, encourages senior students to explore choreographic practice, mentorship, and leadership within the dance community. Additional programs such as Musical Theatre provide opportunities for students who enjoy storytelling through dance, acting, and singing, while Dancing Strong focuses on strength and conditioning to support safe dance practice, injury prevention, and physical resilience. Together, these programs complement our technical training and provide students with tools that extend beyond the dance studio.

Pathways at LVDP

At La Vérité Dance Projects, dancers are supported through a progressive pathway that nurtures both technical development and personal growth at every stage of life. Many students begin in our Early Education classes, where creative movement and play introduce them to rhythm, coordination, and confidence. From there, students transition into our Children’s Dance Training programs, building strong technical foundations across a range of styles while participating in performances, examinations, and creative projects. As they grow, dancers can deepen their experience through enrichment programs such as Musical Theatre, Dancing Strong, and our leadership and choreography program, Dialed In. We also offer Adult Dance Classes, providing a welcoming space for dancers to begin, return to, or continue their dance journey. Together, these pathways create a supportive community where dancers of all ages can explore movement, develop their skills, and grow within the La Vérité environment.

Dance School Holiday Programs

Our School Holiday Programs provide an exciting opportunity for students to immerse themselves in dance and creative movement during the school break. These programs offer a mix of technique classes, creative exploration, and collaborative activities that allow dancers to develop new skills while enjoying a fun and supportive environment. Open to both current students and those new to the studio, our holiday programs encourage creativity, confidence, and connection, while giving participants the chance to experience different dance styles and learn from our teaching team in a focused and engaging setting.

CREATIVE ARTS THERAPY

La Vérité Dance Projects offers Creative Arts Therapy, providing a supportive space where movement and creative expression can be used to explore emotions, experiences, and personal growth. Facilitated by a trained Creative Arts Therapist, these sessions draw on evidence-based practices and may include movement, creative activities, and reflective processes to support emotional wellbeing, self-awareness, and connection. Creative Arts Therapy can be beneficial for children, adolescents, and adults who may benefit from additional support in areas such as emotional regulation, confidence, communication, and resilience, offering a different pathway for engaging with movement and creativity within the La Vérité community.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES

Celebrate your child’s special day with a fun and memorable dance birthday party at La Vérité Dance Projects. Our parties are designed to be engaging, energetic, and age-appropriate, with a mix of dancing, games, and creative activities led by our friendly instructors. Each party is tailored to the interests of the birthday child and their guests, creating a joyful environment where everyone can move, laugh, and celebrate together. It’s a wonderful way to introduce children to dance while making lasting memories with friends and family.

PRIVATE LESSONS

Private Classes

Private dance classes provide students with personalised, one-on-one instruction tailored to their individual goals and development. These sessions allow dancers to focus on specific areas such as technique, performance preparation, choreography, or skill refinement, with guidance from one of our experienced teachers. Private lessons can be a valuable way for students to build confidence, deepen their understanding of their chosen style, and receive focused feedback that supports their progress alongside their regular classes.

Wedding dances

Prepare for your special moment with personalised wedding dance lessons at La Vérité Dance Projects. Whether you’re looking to create a beautifully choreographed first dance or simply feel more comfortable and confident on the dance floor, our instructors work with couples to design a routine that suits your music, style, and experience level. Lessons are relaxed, supportive, and tailored to help you enjoy the process while creating a memorable dance to share on your wedding day.

Our studio spaces are available for hire for rehearsals, classes, workshops, and small creative projects. The studios provide a clean, welcoming environment suitable for dance and movement-based activities, and can also accommodate other creative or wellbeing practices. Studio hire offers individuals and groups a professional space to rehearse, teach, or develop their work within the supportive atmosphere of the La Vérité Dance Projects community.
