OUR TEAM

STEPHANIE
DIRECTOR
La Vérité Dance Projects is the brainchild of Stephanie Georges, an Australian dance teacher, choreographer and performer. After starting dance lessons at 2 ½ years of age, her professional training at elite Victorian academies allowed her to absorb the lessons from some of the world’s leading dance teachers, whilst shaping her vision for La Vérité.
Her experiences throughout these formative years left her with the realization that the performing arts demands vulnerability, and when in the right hands, gives us a unique opportunity to nurture the very human needs of personal discovery and development. While performance and teaching prowess are a common product of the system, it is also important to allow for the opportunity to understand and explore.
Stephanie’s ambition to acknowledge these intricacies has inevitably formed her reputation as a unique and inspiring teacher. As well as being an accomplished performer, she is also the creative and organisational inspiration behind each of La Vérité’s four Projects, holding the position of Company Director, and fully qualified Creative Arts Therapist (MSc Miecat). Each of these projects, although varied in their goals, draws from the company’s founding vision; to explore the truth behind our lives and the relationships we share.
