Classical Ballet is a dance style with an extensive history that emphasises grace, strength, balance, flexibility and self-discipline. Ballet training provides a solid foundation of technique for dancers to utilise in all of their performance experiences. At LVDP, we endeavour to combine the importance of technique with an emphasis on positive body image, as well as mental health and wellbeing. We adopt the internationally recognised Cecchetti Syllabus, where students are offered examination opportunities to gain formal recognition in their training and to understand their progression points in the dance style.
